Selection is based on ease of growth and maintenance, resistance to pests, efficiency at removing chemical vapors, and transpiration rates.

10 Best Clean Air House Plants

As everyone knows, I am always trying to improve the air quality in my place. Unfortunately, most of these require lots of direct sunlight which I have almost none.

Re: 10 Best Clean Air House Plants

I read a similar article a few years ago. I have a large Areca Palm & two of the Pothos. None of my plants are in direct sunlight and do very well. My palm needs excessive amounts of watering but still seems to dry out though. It's a very hard plant to keep looking pretty.

I water everyday too, elaine. I have wondered how those glass bubble things work. Are they any good?

This is what I'm talking about:

I am wondering if blown glass is such a good idea at my house.

I have used the Pothos for years and they work really well. The best part is that you cdan pretty much ignore them and they do well.

I have an Areca Palm too Grace.  It's not planted in direct sunlight but It grows pretty well.  Pothos can also tolerate low lights as the article says.  And it's nice coz of it's bright color.
