I know some of you have used Connections Academy. It is only available in my state as a private school option. Do you get hard copies of the textbooks? Did you like it?

It looks like it would cost over $4,000 a year which is too rich for my blood. I ordered the information packet and it does seem to be what I would like ideally.

Ohio's connections academy is free ... they even offer a free computer for familes who are enrolled. My babysitter Tia has one of her kids enrolled for the coming year.

It was free here in Texas. Yes, they give you text books. Yes, you can get a computer, AND reimbursement for partial internet connection.

K12: Online Public School, Online High School, Online Private School, Homeschooling, and Online Courses options Here is another pubic online school. It is considered a charter school.
