Are you doing the things you wanted to this summer?

Every year I think about how I don't want to let another summer go by without doing something fun ... And then summer comes and I can't find the time, money, or energy to do very much.
We went rock climbing last month and there are still plans ahead of us ... we are going to King's Island in a few weeks (taking the older girls), we have tickets to Wicked later in August, and then after it cools down just a bit, we want to take the younger kids to the zoo. I'm hoping it all happens.
We have yet to spend a day at the lake or pool ... seems crazy but I just haven't had time between working and moving. Time is running out and my list has very few check marks beside it.

well... we have done some of what we wanted to do. School and work has interfered a bit, but we have spent some good pool time together and are about to do our vacation so that is nice. Other things like silver dollar city, well they just aren't going to happen.

Not really. We did hit the pool a lot more then we did last summer but otherwise we haven't done much. I really wanted to take the kids to Six Flags this summer but my eBay $ needed to go towards the house instead. I don't think that the kids really mind since they will all have their own rooms this fall again.

the first week of summer was awesome! we did so much it was great, but now we are hiding from the heat and trying to overcome a nasty summer cold. we still have over a month left with plans for camping and amusment parks so my hopes are high

Our only plams were to hit the pool and visit my mom. Can't afford anything else. So yeah, we've done what we planned. Wish I could have done something really fun with the kids, tho.

We went to Ohio

We went camping

Britt is going to TN

And we are camping in Sept.

Pretty fun filled!
