for the first time in 14 years, I will have one day a week that is ALL MINE!
I signed Gracie up for preschool this fall. I checked the box for the Tuesday/Thursday class thinking that I definitely work every Tues & Thurs so her bus schedule would always be the same ... She would always ride the bus to her sitter Tia's house.
Anyway, I ended up with the Monday/Wednesday class instead. The more I think about it, the more I like this situation. I don't work Wed. That means that every Wed. is mine. I can't remember what it feels like to have days alone ... maybe that is because I've never had them.
I have no clue what I'm going to do with myself.
Anyway, I've decided that to solve the bus issue, I would just always have her get off the bus at Tia's. It's only a mile up the street so not a big deal ... don't know why I didn't think of that earlier.
