Just an update

Just thought I would let you all know where we are since our first appointment with the RE. DH and I both went in for some blood work last week, no big deal there. I had my injection lessons last week, I will be injecting Follistim to help stimulate the ovaries and something else to control ovulation but I can't remember, there is so much to take in!

We are hoping for an egg retrieval next month. It is so scary to think about! I have never been "under sedation" and they need to do that for the egg retrieval procedure!

We were able to do a "Satelliting" program with RE and my OBGYN, which has been really nice. It has cut down the cost of everything, I just see my OBGYN for the ovulation induction and the RE for the egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

Hey Roxanne are you doing IVF if so what was your diagnoisis and are they doing a trail transfer first? Have you ever been on follistem before? just a few questions. We are doing IVF and are doing a trial transfer in june then retrieval and IVF in July.

Try not to be scared, I know sedation is scary the first time but you will be fine and the results will be well worth it
