Sorry I just woke up and remembered I didn't post this,
DO NOT use honey for babies under the age of one. I was wrong. New information shows it to be dangerous. Honey sometimes contains traces of a virulent form of Botulism. It does no harm to children and adults but bc under ones systems are more sensitive than ours it can literally grow in their stomachs and can be really dangerous, we are talking hospitalisation here. I can't remember at the moment if it said it could be fatal but it was definately not good.
Sorry I'm still whacked out here from the virus but had to post this. Honey is a good soother and does have antibacterial properties but is too dangerous for babies. I am very sorry that I recommended it. Please do not use it as I could not live with myself if any of your babies got sick bc I was out of date.
Going back to bed now.
