This sandwich is great with the cream cheese. I like to do this with chicken
or with turkey. I add a dash of hot sauce to it or tablespoon of salsa.
Hot Tuna Sandwiches
4 Cans Tuna -- (6 1/2 Oz. Each)
2 C Cheese Bread -- Shredded
3 Tbsp Chopped Onions
2 Tbsp Pimiento -- Chopped
2 Tbsp Green Onion -- Chopped
8 Oz Cream Cheese
3 Tbsp Cream Or Milk
2 Tbsp Pickle Relish
12 Buns Or Rolls
Butter
Soften cream cheese and stir in cream or milk.
Blend tuna with all ingredients, except buns and butter.
Split buns and butter.
Spread tuna mixture between buns.
Wrap in foil and refrigerate until ready for use.
Place sandwiches in foil in a baking tin and heat 15 to 20 minutes in 375
deg. oven or until cheese is bubbly.
These sandwiches may be made ahead and heated when wanted.
Wrap in foil and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
Makes 12 sandwiches
