Hello, I had someone send me this recipe in an email and I thought I would share it with you all.
CROCKPOT Green Chile Pork
3lb Boneless pork;Cubed
1tb Oil
1Onion;chop
1tsGround cumin
1ts Oregano
1c Chicken Broth
4oz Can diced green chiles
16oz Can Mexican stewed tomatoes(she adds she uses them regulary)
2 Cloves garlic;mince
Salt and pepper
This Flavorful crockpot dish is very versatile. Serve it as a filling for burritos, tacos,or nachos;add over rice.
Brown pork cubes in oil until beginning to brown. Add Onions and cook until onions are softened. Drain. Place pork and onions in a crockpot, add remaining ingredients and cook on LOW until pork is tender, about 8hours. With a large spoon, stir the mixture, breakingthe pork into large shreds by pressing the meat cubes against the side of the crockpot. This freezes well.
