Birthday Rituals

Thread Starter
I've read that if you want to start a Birthday ritual it is best to begin with year One. I would love to do something new and special every year for my Daughters birthday but I can't think of anything yet. I want it to be something that she can enjoy whil young and old something she can maybe pass to her own children. Do you have any suggestions? How about Christmas/Holidays?

Gee, that's a good question Christina. I know for our family birthdays, we always get together for supper, the whole family (well immediate family anyway, Mom, Dad, sisters and Marco). That's always fun.

I haven't given too much thought as to what we're going to do for Sydney's 1st birthday.

My dh's family had a cute birthday tradition. When he was a little boy, his parents made a birthday crown. Each of his brothers wore the crown and was "birthday king" for the day. His parents took them to Dairy Queen or Baskin Robbins. After awhile, the staff recognized the Birthday King and gave them very special treatment. They didn't get to go very often, so this was an extra special treat.
