I do! I do!! I love Halloween!!

So far, we only decorate the inside of our house. But I love seeing all the little kids dressed up!

I never have other than having a jack o'lantern out front but I would like to decorate more.

We haven't really decorated either. I have some candle holders and DH does a pumpkin, but that's it. Probably won't do much this year, since Brandon won't really know and the inside he would be in everything. Next year I plan on it. I will hope to get stuff on clearance for next year.

We don't have a yard to speak of or anywhere to really decorate outside. Last year, I brought some pumpkin-shaped candy dishes to work, and put Halloween Cling-On's in the windows at the house.

I have tons and tons of Halloween stuff! Let's see, I have a door hanger to put on our front door and two rugs to put out. Plus I have kitchen towels and a table cloth. Then I have numerous little knick knack type things that I will put up. Several ceramic pumpkins to put somewhere. I guess it is mostly inside stuff. I do hvae window decorations. I woul dlove to have stuff to put outside too. We have not got to decorate for Halloween in 2 years so I am really looking forward to this year!

Roxanna..how do you decorate your van???

Okay, I'll try to go room by room....Roxanna, let me know if I leave anything out, okay?
First of all, we carve between 5 and 12 jack-o-lanterns every year...I'll post a link for great patterns!! We carve one for each theme room.....
My dining room: we set the table with rubber rats all over it, and eyeballs in all the plates, a black wrought iron candleabra in the center and then I cover it all (scarcely) with fake spider webs. Our table stays this way all month Over in the corner of my dining room I build a monster...I use a dress form or an outdoor light on a stand and then use swimming noodles(you know those long styrofoamie things you use in the pool) and tape to mold broad shoulders then I cover all that with a black table cloth from the store. On the top on the light I put a mask that we bought years ago for a costume party, its really creepy and there is my monster! No feet or hands but it doesn't matter because I put something in front of him so you can't see his feet. I put a fake fire and a cauldron on top of it in front of the monster.
Fake fire instructions are as follows: two empty paint cans stacked on top of each other and wrap orange lights around them and then take wood that I cut up from an old pallet that I got for free and I prop it around the paint cans..some light comes out and it looks like there is a fire under the wood, then I put the cauldron on top and put it all in front of the monster. And then I put a carved jack-o-lantern, with a rat or monster carved on it in the entrance to the dining room and that room is done!!!

Next is the small hall closet....
I trace my hand onto cardboard and cut it out and cut an arm section too...then I take creepy finger toppers, green with red nails that look like they are covered in blood, and put those down over the cardboard fingers..I tape this "arm" inside the closet with only the tips of the fingers sticking out and then I close the door as far as it will close and viola' you have a monster in your closet trying to get out Very last I staple danger tape over the door...this is actual red tape (like caution tape but it says danger)
that says danger on it that Lance got from one of his jobs.

No I don't usually decorate for Halloween... except for a few jack o' lanterns - one for each of the kids at least. We had a lot of fun carving them last year with patterns from an internet site (I don't know which one! ) They turned out really well.

We decorate inside and outside. I don't have quite as many Halloween as Christmas decorations. We've been collecting stuff for the seven years we've been married. We made most of the stuff we have. Last year, I made up a bunch of stuff out of paper mache'. There are a lot of good craft books with inexpensive Halloween crafts out there. We also have cd's of halloween party music.
