How early do you decorate for Halloween?

How long before Halloween do you put out yor decorations??

I'm probably a little earlier than everybody else .. We put our Halloween decorations out the first day of Fall ( I think that is the 3rd weekend of September). I like to have them up and enjoy them for atleast one month!

I start making my homemade Halloween decorations around the middle of September and put them up the last weekend in September.

You know what would be great if you had a Halloween Door decorating contest, it would be interesting to see what everyone else does to decorate.

I normally don't decorate for Halloween. We get pumpkins and window stickers and that is basically it. I have lots of Thanksgiving stuff though that I got for my birthday!

I love decorating for Halloween and do it as soon as I have the time - usually sometime near the end of September.

AS you know...I started decorating last week! But I have a lot to do, so I start early...there is some stuff that I will do the last two weeks like the 10 or 12 pumpkins that we carve...they only last a couple of weeks and that is if the weather isn't warm!

We put out our stuff the first week of September, too Roxanna. We continue to work on our display right up until the day of Halloween. We don't do a whole lot of door stuff. Our cats would destroy anything low enough for them to reach and believe me - they have an incredible reach.
