Twin costume ideas

I have 12 month old twin girls who are just walking on their own now (walking about 90% of the time)...I am looking for ideas that are practical for this age/stage, but also something kind of cute for twin girls. They are identical, and have blond hair. They also have an older sister who is 3 and plans on being a princess (of course), but the twins costumes do not have to co-ordinate with their older sisters'.

I'm not planning on taking them out trick or treating...maybe just to friends and family's houses, but we also go to our playgroup Halloween party.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated (I can't do anything with peas in a pod ..b/c my girlfriend did that last year with her twin girls at the playgroup and I dont want it to look like I'm copying her...know what I mean?)

Hi Lisa

Welcome to babyU. I have twin boys but they are 10.5 now.

I was thinking maybe you could go with a tiger and a lion ?? they could be made from track suits so you can use them again, altho you may want to take the tails off

Or is that too boyish?? Don't forget to take photo's

What about Phil and Lil from Rugrats? The little jumpers and what not??? Something a little different.

You could try two insects. I think that may be what we are doing. A bee and a ldy bug for us. What about two cats but different colors? You can do a lot with garanimals and some felt!
