Baby Monitor Systems

Crystal Clear Nursery Monitor
Keep a close watch on baby with this compact, lightweight nursery monitor set. Whether you're inside or outdoors in the garden, this portable monitor offers an immediate, clear connection to baby's room, with an extended range of up to 400 feet.

Constant Care 3000 - 2-way Communicator
The Constant Care 3000 takes the traditional baby monitor a step further, allowing two-way communication. If it's going to take a while to reach an upset baby, parents can simply press a button and soothe the infant from a remote location. Lights on top of the receiver unit will display, in case there are other noises happening in the room, and an out-of-range indicator helps ensure that babies will get the attention they need. A belt clip and volume-control knob are included, as are two AC adapters and rechargeable batteries.

Child View Monitor & Television
Now instead of just listening to your baby or gauging her cries and fussiness by a bar of red lights, you can actually see and hear her when she's sleeping and know when she's awake. This high-tech gadget, resembling something out of The Jetsons, is a brilliant idea that partners a small camera device with a 5-inch black-and-white monitor (which converts to a black-and-white TV). The picture is surprisingly clear, thanks to 2.4 GHz technology, and the set has a built-in microphone, a wide-angle lens, and volume-indicator lights. The camera also features an infrared LED, which makes it possible for you to see your sleeping infant even in a darkened room. There are three channels to minimize interference, and the sound quality is really quite good. The monitor operates on either an A/C adapter or rechargeable batteries. Overall, this is a great item

Did you like your baby monitoring system?

I love the one I have. The baby's unit has a removable monitor with a belt clip, so you can put it on your child as they get older so you can hear them where ever they are. Now if Ally would only leave it on! It also works as an intercom. You can talk to the baby from the base unit by just pressing a button, like a 2-way radio.

I liked the one I had. It was a simply one by Fisher Price that you can only listen to the baby in the other room with, but the parent's part can be clipped onto you so that you can take it anywhere. The sound was clear and the range was pretty far.

I do wish that when I was expecting Alexander that they had had the ones out that you can use while you are pregnant to hear the heartbeat and then use as a monitor after the baby is born. Don't know how well they work but they are fairly inexpensive.

We never used one with Christian and probably won't with this one either. Pretty much the rooms are all connected at some point so we can either see or hear everything that is going on.
