I'm a BIG bargain hunter ... you have to be when there is only one income and 3 kids.  Thrift stores are my favorite but I also enjoy clearance shopping (and storing Christmas/Birthday gifts) and ebay.

Elaine, I am the same way.  I scour the thrift store, resale shops, clearance racks, etc and put things away for birthdays and holidays.  I have found some great things even at garage sale.  Once found my sister a real cashmere sweater with the tags still on - retailed for $100 and I got it for like $20.  You just have to have the time and be willing to look.

I love hitting garage sales and stuff like that.....same thing with clearance racks....when we were in St Louis last year I got Liz 5 sweater dresses for $3/each....and Nick got a Nike sweatpants and hoodie for $12.....up here that load of stuff would have cost me over $100

I have been checking out the thrift stores for clothes for the kids, lately.  This time of year, people are cleaning out thingd getting ready for the holidays, so there is a lot to be had.  Lucky for me, i actually have the time to sift thru everything looking for a bargain.

See, I actually LIKE to spend my time thrifting - as long as I actually have sme money to spend.

Oh so do I ... once I get out and get going.  But my job is to sift through thrift store stuff and some days I just don't have the motivation to do it by choice...

Seems like everyone just want to get anything for less. I'm on the same side with all of you here. You have to be really thrifty nowadays and get lost with your budget especially if you don't have a lot streams for income. great video Brenda. thanks again
