Are your kids making lists yet?

Mine started the "I want that for Christmas" stuff a month ago.  Every time that doll commericial with the snow (Moxie girls maybe?) or the one for the aqua sand stuff comes on, she flips.

Brenna even scribbled out a list for me.  According to her it said ...

"I want a DS, a cell phone, a Wii, and a Zhu Zhu Pet."

I lucked out because I already had the DS (an unneeded order back at Zach's birthday when I had money) and I think santa is going to get her the ZhuZhu Pet.  Hopefully she isn't too bumbed over the cell phone and wii ... santa isn't crazy. lol

Haley has told me what she wants ... tanning minutes and gift cards. *sigh*  She's so expensive.  There is no way to cheat and find deals on gift cards.

Zachary is my tough one this year ... he's said he wants legos and video games but I feel like that is all he ever gets.  I'd love to find him a good microscope but I just don't think it's in the budget this year.

What commercials are your kids going crazy over this year?

Luckily for me we don't have cable so my kids haven't seen any of the commercials that I know of. They haven't really asked for anything either with the exception of the girls wanting AG doll stuff but that is always for every holiday-LOL

The boys pretty much just want money so we will prolly do gc's and some small things like boxers etc. I really want to get all the kids new bikes now that we have a house. Everyone's except for Bailey's got stollen when we lived in the condo.

I'm waiting for my nieces and nephews to make their lists.  Since they are all over 13 (well, my nephew in GA turns 13 next month) they will probably all want gift cards or money since that is the popular thing among teens and young adults...so I hear.  I'll still get them each a little something depending on their hobbies or if they collect anything.  So I'll be buying for 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great niece (11 months next month) on my side and 1 great niece (4 years old) on Steve's side.

My kids started writing their lists last week.  I can't remember the entire list the oldest wants.  She wants an Xbox.  Not happening.  Santa is saying no, he is  moving across the country and doesn't have a lot of money.  The little one wants a Tinkerbell costume and fairy dolls.  The little one can be smarter than the big one sometimes. LOL!

The girls haven't made their lists yet...

They have told me some things that they want, but nothing very specific.  At this point other than their Santa gifts I am done shopping so they may end up being disappointed.  They tend to want whatever is currently showing on the tv at that moment, but nothing repeptitive this year.

They didn't make lists for me - they made them for their uncle.  I sat them down and told them they could each get one big thing (and they knew my budget. The girls have already gotten their gifts. and Stu isn't getting anything from us unless I come into a ton of $$.

Drew keeps asking for the same thing - DJ Hero 2 for the Xbox.  Since his uncle is the big contributor to the Santa gift again this year, we might be able to swing it (he is giving me a check for $300 for the kids santa gifts andf the game is like $200).

Ally's list changes so often all I do is look for the things that she repeats.  She wants the game "Headbandz", which she will probably get. She has asked for a few othe4r things, like a specific babydoll, the aqua sand and clothes.

I already told the kids they are getting their Santa gift (which is the big one), a gift from mom and dad, from each other and 1 outfit each.  That's it this year.  They both seem to understand that the money is too tight this year to do any more than that,
