New Year, New You???

Hey Guys...

 

So how many of us are trying to take better care of ourselves this year?  What's the plan man????

You all know me... 

I'm doing spin class twice a week.  I started that back in December (although I missed the last two weeks due to transportation issues).  I LOVE it!  It's hard and of course I'm not going as fast as the trainer but it's still fun for me.  

I'm also doing a toning class one day a week.  You combine cardio bursts with weights.  

Other than that I'm doing the treadmill at home.

My plan is to do a half marathon (13 miles) in June in Kansas City.  I'm not planning to be able to run the whole thing (although I might) just to be able to complete it.  I figure it will be a run/walk/jog event for me.  

Also still eating my tiny portions and trying to limit fats.

What are you doing?

I am just trying to eat healthier and smaller portions. When the weather gets nice I will start walking again with the kids.

Some coworks and I are talking about joining the local gym ... we'll see if that happens.  Maybe if they aren't up for it, Chad will be.

My only dietary goal is to start drinking more water ... I don't get nearly enough.

My plan is simply to eat healthier, smaller portions and to drink less DP and more water.  Simple goals.
