Getting the Tax Return Itch

Thread Starter

In just a few weeks I'll have my W-2s and a few weeks after that my return will come!!  I always have a lot of ideas of what I'd like to do with the money but when it comes time to spend it, I'm not actually that good at giving it away.

My ideas for this year's return...

Digital Camera (mine is junked)

TV & Wii (oh how I would love to have this)

New computer?

New desk!

Microwave (a definite)

Rug for diningroom ... one I can actually get because I like it and not because it's cheap.

Vacation!!

So what are your plans??

Nothing...We usually don't get much of a tax return. Gary and I both claim single and 0 dependants, but we don't get much back. At least we usually don't have to pay! That has only happened once and that's when we changed from Married and 0 to single and 0.

This year our plan is to pay off some stuff and save a chunk of it.  We have had several unexpected expenses the last few months and it has emptied our savings.  My goal is to get my savings back up where it needs to be and pay off Jim's parents for the freezer. :)

Same here. I might just have to keep the money and save it for later.

Ours usually goes to pay for the girls dance classes depending on how much it is.

I'm getting my dentures - finally!  WooHoo!  We are saving every penny right now and with the tax return we should have enough.  Keep your fingers crossed!  It was a year last Halloween that I had the surgery, so it would be nice to be able to eat like a real person!  LOL!  I sooooooo want a salad and an apple!  :)
