Where can I find inexpensive frames?

The glass broke in most of my frames during the move or while they were in storage.  We spent the evening driving around looking for new frames for all the Egyptian papyruses we brought back from the middle east.  We have been to Big Lots, Walmart, Target and Kmart.  Since these are all around 11x14 or larger the frames are either expensive or they are not what we're looking for.  We don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but we want something art nouveau or old fashioned looking to go with our new furniture.  Has anyone had any luck with auctions or thrifts at finding frames?

I'd say thrifts but I'm realy no help as I don't have anything that big to frame so I've never investagated it.

What about flea markets? I know I've seen frames there too.

The problem with things made in the middle east is they're mainly handmade and often irregular sizes.  I am sure glad we bought our stuff there.  I found a website offering some of the same papyruses we have for $159/each.  Yikes!

If its not a standard shape my thought is then that you may need to make them yourself (you guys are pretty crafty) or ahve them custom made (which I hear can get $$) But I have no idea.

Apparently Michaels and Hobby Lobby are having sales on frames this week.  If not, we'll go to framesusa.com which wholesales frames at cheep prices.

Hobby Lobby also puts out a coupon every week.  You should be able to get it online if you don't get the flyer.  It's good for 40% off, including frames.
