Brisk walking for better memory (but not really sure if it will also work for younger people)

I saw this topic on the news yesterday. I'm doing a lot of workout in the home and also 30-minute jog 3 times a week but after reading this, I think I might to plan on setting a day for just brisk walking too. http://www.healthnews.com/fitness-exercise/brisk-walking-routine-sharpens-memory-as-we-age-4713.html

I haven't made it up to jogging yet ... but I hope to get there!  Right now, I'm doing a brisk walk (3.8) on the treadmill for 25 mins, 3 times a week.  I want to work up to 40 mins.
