Baked Buffalo Wings

1lb chicken wings

1 T cayenne pepepr

1 tsp crushes red pepper flakes

1 T salt

1/2 cup Louisiana hot sauce

1 T margarine

Directions

  1. 1 Fill a large pot half way with water and then add the first 4 ingredients.
  2. 2 Bring water mixture and wings to a boil and then boil for 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Transfer wings to an oven safe container coated with cooking spray. Bake wings on "Broil" (high) for 15 minutes on each side.(For crispier wings, cook longer on each side, maybe 20 minutes per side).
  4. 4 While waiting for wings, combine the Hot Sauce and Margarine in a microwave safe container and cook in microwave for 2 minutes or until melted. (You can cook the sauce longer for a thicker sauce).
  5. When wings are done, shake 'em up with the sauce and enjoy!

Ok. I am too embarrassed to tell you that I don't have anything in mind for the superbowl. But hey, I think I'm gonna have to use these recipes. Thank you so much Brenda.

Alot of people also add a layer of guacamole to the dip, but I don't like it so i leave it off.  I also leave off the olives.  I just set them aside for hubby to add as he likes.

I don't have anything planned here either. :)

Come one, people!  I need some ideas!  LOL!

Right now we are planning on queso (cheese dip), buffalo wings, and fruit.  But I need some other ideas.  I would prefer not to have to go out to get anything, but I think I can work  with what we have at the moment.

Damn, just realized  forgot to buy Queso (velveeta) at the store.  I have several different kinds of shredded cheese and a block of Co-Jack.  Anyone have a recipe for queso using regular cheese?  (Can't believe I forgot!)
