What are you going to do when the weather gets warmer?

It's supposed to be in the high 50s - low 60s all this week here.  I have a bunch of branches to clear our of my yard once the snow melts.  I need to do a major clean up out there since the previous owners left the back yard fairly trashed with leaves and limbs.  I hope to plant some flowers and dh wants to do some landscaping out there, too.  I hope to hit the antique malls.  Dh wants to find lamps for his room and I hope to find a dresser scarf or two.  Otherwise, I will have to make a couple. 

 

The kids want to go to the zoo.  Since it is only $6 a person right now because the African area is closed, now is a good time to go before the prices go up.  I also hope to enroll Kate in an art class. 

 

What are you doing with the nice spring weather?

I'm still hibernating. LOL! Its gonna take awhile for my snow to all melt. We are going to a family thing @ the fair park tomorrow. best thing is its free!

I am looking forward to doing my jogging outside!  That's what I'm happy about... other than that if it's not too muddy just the girls being able to be outside is awesome!

We need to plant our grass seed and do landscaping this spring and summer and it will be a LOT of work. We have the largest lot in our subdivision, which I will LOVE but it's still gonna be a lot of work-LOL

I am also looking forward to going for walks so I can get some exercise. I have lost 5lbs so far but I know that I could lose the weight soooo much faster if I was getting consistant cardio during the day. :)

Looking forward to starting my walking routine. Looking at shoes for it now. Then getting my container garden going. Normally start that around the end of Feb, beginning of Mar. Gotta get out there and clean out all my containers and start buying supplies a bit at a time so the expense doesn't overwhelm us.

We are only hitting 40 degrees here but after the weather we've had, it feels like Spring is coming!  I'm just looking forward to being outside and being able to have my windows open.  I don't have any big projects or plans that need warm weather ... it just makes everything nicer.

We hit 65 degrees yesterday! it was beautiful... I just love Spring! this means more outdoor runs for me!

We actually hit 80 on both Friday and Saturday.  That's incredibly warm for us for Feb.  We were camping, so it was great,

I would love to go out and have a long drive over the bay . . . I just love to see the sun shinning in the water .
