I have a wireless router at home ... it doesn't get used but it's hooked up ... and because of that (that's not the only reason), I bought a wireless all-in-one computer to go up in my bedroom. During the hook up process, I found this little clickable thing that said "see network". I clicked on it and realized that A LOT of other people in my apartment complex are using my internet through the wireless router. There were two home computers (one of them had even set up a home group), and 3 "media devices" all routing through my wireless. Grrrr ... Of course it's my fault because I never secured my connection or even figured out how to. Well I did yesterday. I booted them all off, created a secure network, and Voila, my downstairs computer is running like new again ... It's been months of our internet being bogged down that convinced me to buy a new computer in the first place. *rolleyes*
