Because I am the only mod left standing and I don't always catch it.  We used to be able to ban spammers and delete their spam in one click, but the new owners took that ability from us along with most of the other functions we had.

I don't think any of us have heard from them since they said they were taking over and going to make a "few" changes which ended up meaning taking away almost all of our smilies and many of the administrative functions.

About a year I think.  I spent 2009 sick and 2010 writing my thesis and then my dad died, so I was kind of in a blur for about two years.
