I'm 9 months pregnant and I have a 7 year old, and a 11 month old. The 11 month old wants all of my time! I can barely bend or pick her up. She also sleeps in the bed with me and my husband. I have no idea how to get her out the habit of that. I've tried taking her to her play pen for naps. Or even her crib at night and nothing seems to work. She also has her own baby doll that she carries around and rocks to sleep she tries to feed her but today my husband picked up his nephew and my daughter got so jealous. She walked to him and tried to take down the little boy so he can carry her. I honestly have no idea how I am going to do this.

How old is your son? I have a four year old who is very (perhaps overly) attached to me. She does do a lot of her own self care (ie take a bath, brush her teeth, use the potty, etc), but she is attached to my hip like a flea sometimes. I'm not too worried, because when another grown up or kid comes around that she really likes, it's forget about mom time. I try to remind myself that one day I will miss the days when she loved mommy best.
every child is so attached to their mom, and it is quite natural for a child or baby. we must adjust to it or we may say about this when they are as years as old.It can't be easy to escape the attachment with our children at childhood time.
