Tessa recently faked sick here... We knew she wasn't sick but let her stay home anyway.   She used the liquid out of the top of the cottage cheese, some mushy cereal and a squirt of hot sauce to make it reddish.  Jim said she put so much effort into it he decided to let her have the day (I was at clinicals).  She did later admit to faking and was amazed that we had known all along she was faking

Thanks for the link Lenora. While I don't have much of this type of problem with my kids my brother-in-law  who is 11 years old right now is a master at this. DP's parents are in serious delima as to how to solve this problem.
