We cannot afford central air for sure, but I (and baby) can't live without some sort of cooling. What do you recommend? I'd like to get a room conditioner and then the baby and I could just stick close to her nursery or my bedroom, wherever we decide to put it. I need one that's really quiet though, because I don't want it to keep her up. I'm debating over a couple, I really like the Sharp CV on this website because it's supposedly the most quiet.
How do you guys stay cool on a budget ?? Can you give me an estimate on what you pay a month if you use an AC?
