I am sick of coming here and deleting spam for owners who don't even appreciate it.  It's also so lonely around here.

I've been super busy.

I got two wholesale orders on top of some normal ones and got approached to put my dresses & rompers in a local store (which I think at this time is not a good fit for me)

and its summer and while I'd like to stay in and work the monkeys need to be let out or they drive me bonkers.

I miss "seeing" you around Lenora...

I popped in one other time and it was just a bunch of crap posts - so I didn't  hang.

I stop by every day still to see how you are doing, Lenora, but otherwise it is just spam and crappy old posts with more spam.

How are you Ward and Lenora? Enjoying summer at all?

Not a whole lot going on around here. The four big kiddos are at their dad's house this week so it is pretty quiet compared to normal although Parker keeps it lively round here. :)

Just been working and trying to keep up with my own house. Haven't had much time for summer fun but I am hoping to take PJ to the pool tomorrow since I have yet another unexpected day off. This weekend we may head to some of the 4th of July festivities but it totally depends on the weather.

Oh, I know what I was going to ask you Lenora. Do you have any experience with dye free diets for your kiddos? We started PJ on one about a week ago because I read that it helps ADHD and Autistic kids with hyperactivity and aggresion. I know that PJ is just a typical 2yr old but at times he is absolutely crazy hyper so we thought that we would give this a try. I don't really see a big difference with going dye free but I have seen a huge difference when he is allowed absolutely NO caffine (we will give him sips of our soda here and there and then of course chocolate). Even a small amount of caffine drives him to a tizzy like you would not believe! He is a completely different child when he doesn't have caffine so hopefully I can keep the kids and family members from giving him drinks of their soda and such. Was just wondering if you had tried this method or not?

I've been doing really great and wanted just to hang out here for a bit, sadly though Lenora was right, spams are almost in every thread now here.

Lenora, have you talked to the owners of this site yet? do you know what's their plans for this forum? I can see a rihanna-taylor swift ad here. That means they are updating this site somehow.

I'm being to feel like, they don't care, why should I?  It's no fun coming here just to delete spam for a bunch of folks who aren't even going to say thank you.  I don't want to do it anymore.

Krista, I never tried a dye free diet.  I don't know if you are FB friends with Knee cole (Jennifer), but her son is dye free for adhd.  I never noticed a big difference - dye free, glutton free - it didn't seem to make a difference.  I don't let my kids have caffeinated sodas anyway.  They don't get much in the line of soda.  I haven't seen their behavior change on Kool Aid which seems to be mainly sugar and dye.

I've been spending a lot of time in my yard.  Now, I have one, I want it to look nice.  It's been rough because the former tenants didn't mow or rake the yard for 5 or 6 years.  I have finally cleared out all the old mess, but we have sycamore trees which create new mess all the time, but they provide great shade.  Oh well, we're broke from buying a house, so it's good to have something cheap to do.  We've been raising a vegetable garden which is going well.  Next year, I think we double it's size.  We haven't bought a single leaf of lettuce, green bean or onion all summer.

We've been staying home to save money.  The dishwasher literally fell to pieces a couple of weeks ago, so we had to buy a new one.  Dh has done some work on he plumbing replacing valves which haven't been replaced in over 30 years.  This house was a rental for 36 years and it has the problems you'd expect out of a rental.

We've been trying to see the local sights and get our bearings in a new state.  Hopefully, one day, we'll get a little cash to visit St Louis one of these days. When we drove through on the way here, the traffic was terrible and dh was too exhausted to visit anyone.

Kate's started third grade in every subject but math.  Cara is really working on learning how to read.  The girls have made friends and adore having  a playroom and large (for us) yard.  Having a decent sized house, a yard and nice furniture makes staying home a lot better.  Of course, they are the reason we are staying home so much, too! :o)

Just posted something on a new thread. I miss those days where there were at least 10 moms chatting here. frown.gif

Hi everyone, I have been without a computer until last night so that's why I have been MIA--- also the lack of regular posting keeps me somewhat scarce.

I hope Lenora and Ward are doing well and really hope we can get this site going again. I miss it here!!!

It's just about dead.  How are you and Sarah?  I think of you two often.  How is your grandchild?  I hope all is well.  :)

She took that pic herself!  LOL!  We moved to Kansas where we bought a house.  We love our house, but dh hates the scenery.  We live less than 5 miles from the VA and a large military base.  Our house is about 20 minutes from Kansas City which is also a bonus.  If it weren't so hot, we'd be having a great time.  It's great to live near things and have some conveniences. Cara started preschool this summer and kate's in 3rd grade.  Hard to believe my baby is a 3rd grader!

Horrah!!! I am finally back. The thing is, seems to me that nothing has changed since I left. Ok Lenora, how are you doing lately?

I had the stomach flu tow weeks ago, otherwise, pretty good.  I've been doing lots of sewing and leaf removal.  It seems the leaves will never end and my trees have just begun to shed.  What are you up to, Ward?

I hope you are doing really well now. Oh, don't worry the leaves will always be there for you.lol. I've been spending quite a lot of time with my kids lately. Just wanted to make sure they don't forget their dad's face. I also need to do some repainting maybe outside the house and fix some stuff that might still use in the future. How is everything doing with your kids?

They're good.  I'm having their pictures taken today.  I got them American Girl dolls (off brand) for Christmas.  I think they know about it though. :(

lol. It doesn't really matter whether they know about it or not. My wife is very good at blowing up my cover. So you have two little girls right?

Yep, the oldest one did not like having her pic taken in a formal long dress.
