I've recently taken to adding Shiitake mushrooms, to my evening salad. I use 3 - 4 ounces raw. Are raw mushrooms safe, to eat or should they be cooked? Are they more nutritious raw or cooked?

Well, personally I also eat both in raw and in cooked shape. But I think raw shape is more nutritional. I like oyster mushroom more because its tasty and delicious. Moreover oyster soup is a healthy and nutritional recipe. Eat mushroom in whatever shape its a very nutritional food because it contains high protein level and not fat level. Low fat level makes mushroom the best food for fitness.
