What are your Halloween traditions?

How do you spend the day? What are some of the treats and crafts you make year after year with the kids?

OK, our "traditions":

*we start decorating within a few days after my birthday. We are a bit behind this year.

*the kids get their pictures done in their costumes preferably before Halloween, in case there's tears or dirt or chocolate afterwards.

*we hit the family first. If there is still time, we'll either go to the mall (in bad weather) or around our apartment complex.

*decorations stay up almost until Thanksgiving.

And after making costumes this year, I don't think I'll have the energy for alot of treats.

We start the day ot with pumpkin pancakes!

We decorate the first of October!

We make one craft or "treat" per week until Halloween is here!!

Something yuckly looking to eat for lunch and dinner.

We take the kids to the mall and to Publix. Then around the neighborhood. We also go to the church festival.

Then after Kale is asleep ... we watch a scarry movie with the older kids!!
