I really don't remember where most of these came from.
I have been collecting for a few years. But I thought I would share some ideas (since I can't sleep).
Animals
LadyBug
Sheep
*white hooded sweatsuit
*polyfil or pillow stuffing
*white or black felt triangles for ears
double-sided tape
*two pairs of white or black socks
1. Apply strips of tape around suit.
2. Stick fluff to tape.
3. Cut two triangles from either white or black felt. Hand sew or hot glue to the hood. (Sewing lets you remove them for use of the suit later.)
4. Wear one pair of socks on the hands and one pair on the feet.
Skunk
*black hooded sweat suit
*white faux fur
*black felt
*2 pairs of black socks
*double-sided tape
1. Cut faux fur into a stripe and stick it with the tape to the back of the suit.
2. Cut out an oval for the belly and stick it with the tape.
3. Cut out triangles for the ears from the felt and either hand-sew or hot glue them to the hood. (Sewing lets you remove them for use of the suit later.)
4. Wear one pair of socks on the hands and one pair on the feet.
Bunny
*pink, brown, or white hooded sweat suit
*pompoms or handful of cotton balls
*double-sided tape
*white pantyhose
*wire coat hanger
*polyfil or stuffing
*plastic head band
*two pairs of socks matching suit's color
*plastic or real carrot
1. Attach tail to back of pants with the tape.
2. Bend the hanger to form ears.
3. Gently pull the hose over the hanger. Attach to headband.
4. Stuff with fluff.
Turtle
*green sweatsuit (hood optional)
*yellow & green & tan felt
*polyfil
*hot glue gun
1. Cut oval for tummy shell from tan felt. stitch to front of shirt.
2. Cut similar sized oval and one about 1 inch radius larger from green.
3. Cut several spots from yellow.
4. Attach with glue the yellow spots to the larer oval.
5. Attach with glue the green ovals together, matching edges and leaving an opening.
6. Stuff with fluff and seal.
7. Sew the back shell to the back of the shirt.
