need HELP with SPIDER!!

Ok here's what I'm doing. Jimmy has a spider shirt and pants to match and he's going to need to where a hat. I have this really cute fleece type hat that velcros under the chin. I want to create a spider and velco that to the hat so that I can reuse the hat. It would almost be like another hat over it put used as the support.

I'm hoping for ideas on how to secure it to his head.

I know that I can't make it to big cause he won't be able to hold on his head. I want to make the body the part over his head and legs that hang over. I think to little fangs that hang above the brow.

How do I keep it secure to his head? I'm not sure if the hat idea will work!!!!

Hmmm. The only thing I can think of is to get those fuzzy pipe cleaners and use those for the legs, and black pom-poms for the spider's body. But I'm trying to figure out the velcro thing....

A girl here at work gave me a great idea for the body make the body out of black fleece stuffed with either batting or papertowel cuz it's not that big. The fleece will work better with the velco. DINA I love the idea of pipe cleaner for the legs THAT"S GREAT! thanks!
