Until now we thought only women heard the clanging of the biological clock. Now men get to hear it too. According to a study by Narendra Singh of the University of Washington, genetic damage to sperm routinely begins to cause declining fertility rates in men beginning around age 35. The study, which was released at a conference of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, found that the older the man, the less vigorously his sperm swim, and the less his immune system is able to defend itself from developing faulty sperm.
