Scooby Snacks

2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 can (12 oz.) Butter Milk Biscuits

Preheat over to 400 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

In a small bowl combine sugar & cinnamon. Separate dough into 10 biscuits, separate each biscuit into 3 to 4 layers. Dip each section in melted butter; coating each side. Then dip into cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place one inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 6-8 min.

Shaggy Sweet Potato Chips

1 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
cooking oil
salt to taste

Soak potato slices in 2 quarts of ice water for 1 hour; drain and pat dry. Heat oil to 375 degrees in an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer. Fry 7-8 slices at a time, until golden brown, 1-2 minutes, turning once. Drain on brown paper grocery bags; sprinkle with salt. Cool before sampling.


Thelma Brain Power Bits

1 cup Sunflower seeds
1 tsp. Oil, optional
1/4 tsp. salt, optional

Preheat oven to 325 F. Mix sunflower seeds with oil only if salt is used. Spread plain or oiled seeds on baking sheet. Bake in watched oven about 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle oiled seeds with salt while hot.


Daphne Dip

1/2 cups of creamy peanut butter
8 oz. of vanilla yogurt
1/8 teas. of ground cinnamon
1/2 cup of thawed cool whip
apples, pears or celery for dipping

Cream together peanut butter and cinnamon until well blended. Then slowly add cool whip, stirring to a creamy consistency.


Scrappy Doo Muscle Building Yogurt Milk Shake

1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Yogurt
1/2 Banana
1/2 Cup Strawberries or Blueberries

Puree above ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pour into a prechilled thermos. Variation: Add 1/2 Cup Ice Cream or substitute ice cream for the Yogurt.
