Fighting over it allready!

Okay I know that candy is not a good breakfast but while we were picking 2 pieces for Haley to take to school Zach freaked out and wanted something so I gave him a little bag of M&M's. Haley imediately drops to her knees and starts crying that those were hers. I had to explain that Zach went to every house that she did and got all the same candy that she did.
She looks up at me and goes "Whew, cause I only have 7 bags of M&M's left." Only 7?!?

Geesh! Kids these days. Whatever are we to do with them??

Caitlyn was getting upset last night because we were taking some away from them (you know, checking it). I mean, yes we kept some. They each had about 40 of those sweet Tarts thingys. Maybe we can get this to last thru the New Year.

Haley had to count and separate all her candy for her school homework. She ended up with 329 pieces. It had better last through the end of the year.

Can you even believe it? I mean as kids come by and you give them 2 -3 piecees of candy, they are standing there like they were waiting for more to be dropped in the bags!!! Greedy!

At least most of them said thank you as they left!

I had to constantly remind Haley to say thank you.

I kept getting pi**** at kids who would push past the little ones to get up to the door first. There were a few times that I would be walking Zach up the stairs (and I know he is really slow but he is only 17 months old) and older kids would run by almost knocking him over.

I don't have a rude trick or treater stories, I have stories of rude adults giving out the candy!! But I will post that later.
I hope your kids had a good Halloween and enjoy the fruits of your labor

Tessa brought me her bag last night and said it was too heavy, so I emptied it into a bag for me to carry and she almost threw a fit... She thought I was stealing her candy!!

haha. poor thing. Zach didn't want to carry his bucket untill the first person put candy in it and then he wouldn't let go of it to save his life.
