This recipe is very simple and only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish! It is absolutely delicious!
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 onion (chopped)
2 quarts chicken broth
1 quart half and half
1 bag frozen corn niblets
1 pound lump crab meat (its about $6 for a 1 pound tub)
Melt the butter in a stock pot. Brown the flour and onion. Add chicken broth and half & half. Simmer about 10 minutes. Add corn and simmer 10 more minutes. Add crab meat. As soon as the crab is hot (about 5-10 minutes) the soup is DONE!!
