Now there's advice I'll be happy to take!

Seems like everyone loves to tell me all of the negative things about having children, and not much positive.

heather, the postive advise out weighs the negative advice. being a parent is one of the best things ive ever done with my life, no regrets at all. motherhood is a very rewarding thing. yes kids will get on your nervous at times i wont lie about it but like i said the good things out weigh the bad things. you just be the best loving involved mom u can and u will do just fine. i feel you will be a wonderful mom because u are already excited about things that will come........you need advice u can email me or pm here, my email address is in my profile. ill help u as much as i can. those people telling u bad advice just ignore them. i have 4 kids and love every minute of it adn im sure u will to

You know, some people believe that God puts us here for a reason, that everyone has a purpose. Well, my reason....my purpose is my KIDS!! I have had the career, I have had the nightlife....I gave it all up and never looked back!! My family is the most rewarding purpose I could ever have!
But, they sure can drive me nuts sometimes!

I have to agree. Being a mother is definitely not the most glamerous job, or the highest paid, but it is the most important job I have ever done. I get tired, and lonely, but when I think of all the postives of being a mom, it outweighs it all.

I do have to say that while I will enjoy the kids home for two weeks, I'm positive I'll be happy to send them back to school.

Friday is Michaels last day until Jan 6th as well! I am so excited he will be out that long! I can't wait!

I think most of us here value and cherish our children.

my kids school hardly ever has parties or go on field trips but when they do all they want from the parents is money. Their old school i was always there and the kids loved it and i enjoyed it as well.I was able to do alot of fun things with them.
