SIDS pillow

I found this in a catalog and I wondered if it was worth it. It's a pillow that holds the baby on it's back to prevent SIDS. The particular one I am interested in has a special headrest that prevents the baby's head from going flat on one side. Has anyone heard of this or had one? Thanks.

Which catalog? I think I know which one you're talking about, but not completely sure....

We had a pillow that prevented Christian from rolling over. He could be placed on either side or on his back but he couldn't roll over. We really liked it. Christian was the type that loved to be wrapped up and the pillow made him feel wrapped up.

The catalog is One Step Ahead. It's called the Head n' back to Sleep.

I had one similar to this- I found it really helpful and Jared seemed to like it.

Is there anywhere I can pick one up that is less expensive than this one? I saw one at Walmart, but it didn't have the head part.

Funny we had one for Alisha that was to keep her on her side. We mostly use blankets just stuffed in back of her. That is how they were doing it then. I do not sew Lenora but I think you can make them too. Cheaper that way but no good if you do not sew, like me.
