skin cancer???

I have yet to tell anyone this and I think it’s something I might want to worry about. On Jan 31st I had my yearly check up with the OB/GYN. Everything was fine except one thing. There are apparently two brown spots on my back (right where I can’t see) that she said I need to keep an eye on. Any idea what’s going on there? What can I research before finding a dr to talk to?

I am worried about this alot. I lost my (adopted) first Daddy to lung cancer and I really don't want my kids to go thru all the grief I still go thru.

I am sure it is ok but just have someone keep checking them. DH has some too and I just watch them. I had one on my left knee when I was a kid, It got to be the size of a nickle and had to be removed and it came back fine. You can go see a dermatologist and get thier opinion.

I agree with Becky. Just keep an eye on them... doesn't mean they are cancer, but it just means to keep checking on them every so often to make sure there's no change in the color, size, shape, texture, etc., etc.

Thanks, ladies. Guess next time I see one of my parents I'll get them to take a picture so I can keep track of any changes.
