Orange baby.....

I have a very orange baby girl! Apparently she favors any baby food that is orange in color and has eaten so much of it that her skin has been orange for the last couple of months. Bailey was the same way but i don't remember him being orange for this long of time period. I have tried feeding her more meats and greens but it has not helped so far. I swear that if you stuck Emily with a pin that she would bleed orange!
Have any of you girls ever had an orange baby? When Bailey was orange the doctor only stated that he was really healthy and not to worry about it. We don't have a ped. right now(stupid medicaid, but that is another story!) so i was just wondering if you all have had any responce from your pediatrician's on this subject....
Thanks!

Krista,

I had 2 very orange babies! At my son's 9 month checkup, the ped. said, "I see he likes his carrots." She said there was no problem with it. It does go away too. They aren't orange anymore!

We are lucky Christian never turned orange. For a while all he wanted to eat was the orange food.

My friend's baby turned orange. It eventually went away but not before the poor girl went crazy trying to figure out why her daughter was orange. It just never dawned on her that the food would do it.

Hope little Emily regains her color soon Even though I am sure she is a cute little orange person

We were lucky that Alexander never turned totally orange, but he did have some spots along his hairline for a few weeks. It was amazing to me that that could happen from orange food - Al loves sweet potatoes!!

I wasn't a member yet - but I had the same thing happen to me when I was little - and yep, carrots were the culprit

Both of mine were orange babies. I remember once the ped brought in an intern to show him and mentioned that my babies really liked their vegetables.
