Hi Kim, just wondering??

Have you ever known a chest infection to come on in less than 4 hours before?? I have had many many of the blasted things and they always started with at least a headcold then progressed to a chest infection.

This one I had a bit of a sore throat at 10pm by 2am I was coughing my lungs out so bad I lost my voice and couldn't take a normal breathe without coughing.

The thing is I have had a sick night and tonight is my night off and I have to go in tomorrow, and I swear I am worse today than yesterday.

I have just gone up to the chemist and got some tablets to stop the stuffy nose, bc every time I blow my nose I end up coughing so bad I vomit (sorry girls TMI I know ) so I'm hoping that will help. I need to go and try to get some sleep but I will wait until you have had a chance to come up with some brilliant idea that will make me all better by 5pm, and btw it is now 1.15pm so you had better get a wriggle on that miracle

Thanks Becky, I think I am a little better, I've only coughed myself sick once in the last 2 hours so things are definately looking up

And I bet Kim is sleeping or working (altho I thought she was having a week of after being so sick herself?)

Either way it is now 3.30pm and she has only 1.5 hours to work a miracle for me Not that I'm keeping track or anything

Did you get the, "Get well Maree vibes" yet?

I'm sorry... I don't have any miracle.. Just fluids, rest & some REALLY good Over the counter cold meds that will knock you out so you can sleep all day!

Yep... I was at work --- or driving to work when you posted!

Last time I was sick - about 2 wks ago - it came on all of the sudden & man was I SICK!! I actually started feeling really yucky at work, then WHAM! it hit me when I got home. Lasted a couple of days. Still felt yucky but I could move, so I worked.

Good luck, Maree! Speaking of sleep... I'd better go now!
