It was my landlord's gun crazy teenager. He loves to shoot things. This winter someone shot several deer in the butt. it didn't kill them immediately, but I'm sure they suffered sevrelly. It's mean of me, but somedays I think they've got a garden spot in Bagdad for gun crazy people where the targets aren't 12 lb cats and deer who can't fight back.
