An embarrassing health questions mixed with a little TMI

Okay I can't believe I am actually asking this but I hurt like heck so here goes...

Yesterday I was out shopping with a friend and needed a pad (I am postpardum so I can't wear a tampon) and the machine spit out this gigantic generic one but it was all I had so I used it. It was sooo big that it kind of moved with my legs while I walked and after hours of walking it rubbed me really bad and now I am severely raw down there and wanted to know what is safe and what I should put on it.

I am going to go die of shame now.

Neosporin would work for leg & other general skin areas. If a more sensitive area is chaffed, I would recommend any kind of cream made for "external discomforts" - vagisil makes one -- you could also use a water based item, such as KY. Just anything that would provide you comfort for the chaffing should be OK.
