OK.
I'm a little embarressed by this, but my doctor is probably tired of me calling him.
Until I got this yeast infection, I had only had one other one, and I didn't even know anything was wrong. It just came back on my pap smear, and they called in some Diflucan. So it was treated before I ever saw any noticable symptoms. This time, though...
I know that being on the 2 weeks worth of antibiotics is what probably set it off. I know the itching, etc. (sorry--
) is normal, but are there any other things that would be normal--like a dull pain in the area of your "female organs" or anything? Or maybe I've just got a UTI on top of that. I was just wondering if I should get the Diflucan refilled or if I should check in to having a test for a UTI/kidney infection. I've only had the one yeast infection, so I'm not sure what's normal, what's related, and what's not.
Thanks!

told you
It's very common to get yeast infections after taking antibiotics. I try to eat 1 container of yogurt every day that I'm on the antibiotics... it usually works pretty well... I choke down the strawberry or similar yogurt... not a big fan of it, but really worth it if no infection.
