Woody birthday party (Toy Story)

I'm thinking about giving Kale a Woody birthday party. Has anybody here ever used that theme? What did you do?

Here are my ideas so far ...
make his invitations for "Kale's Birthday Round-up"
use red dixie cups with a piece of rope glued around top
red, yellow and blue decorations
we could have it outside and get a pony for rides

?? But I'm also thinking of other ideas too?!?!? Just don't know!!!

We did this and made everyone dress up in western apparrel and bought a bunch of stick ponies for the kids to play with. (Cheap at the dollar store $5 a piece) Then kept a few and the others were won as prizes. instead of streamers and ballons we used rope and hay bales (we done this outside we live in the Country) I will have to look at my book to see what else we did.

Alexander loves the "Cowboy" as he calls Woody, so this would make a great theme for his birthday party. I love your suggestion on pony rides but don't know that we'd do that.

Your ideas sounds great and I know Kale will love it!! What kind of cake will you make him? Cowboy hat, horse? You could have a horse pinata and pin the tale on the donkey would have even more meaning!! Have fun planning the party.
