First of all, did I say SECOND????

Ok, I am ok now...

We are planning a water party for Brandon. I was looking into American Adventures but can't see paying $300 for it, so...

Decided to set up the pool, I bought a slip and slide and we have the funky sprinklers. Got water guns and sunglasses as favors. Bought water balloons. Have a sandbox also. Figure it is August, it is going to be hot and all kids like to get wet. Might get the new sit and spin sprinkler also. Bought everything I need from the $ store, plates, silverware, tablecloth, gift bags, favors, etc etc. Now I'll I have left to get is balloons, cake and snacks. Bought 4 boxes of Target Brand caprisons on sale so I am set for that type of drink.

Any other water ideas are welcome!!

We are having Kale's at American Adventures for $162 for 8 friends. And that is the deluxe party.

Serve those cheap popcicles . .you know the ones you buy like 200 to a box. They have to be cut open on the top. Kids love them. Set up an ice cream stand. Serve blue jello with gumy fish in it. You can be really creative with this kind of party!

But it sounds like you've got the entertainment all covered!

Good idea, thanks Roxanna!!

I tried American Adventures, but with the amount of kids in our neighborhood we need to invite, it would be $300. Too much for us!!! Kale will have a blast at American Adventures!

Jennifer, we love these type parties, the kids ALWAYS really enjoy themselves This should be a great success!
There is one thing that we have run across.....we bought a split for our water hose connection, so that we could run 2 hoses at one time off one spicket...you might want to think about that because it gets very tiresome unhooking one water feature to hook up another and then 10 minutes later they are tired of that one and want another one LOL We even ran enough hose from around front so that we could have 4 going at one time....you don't have a lot of water pressure when you do this, but for kids this small that shouldn't be a problem....hope this makes some sense

Shelia, thanks! We have one on the front spicket and then we also have a side spicket. I was worried that we wouldn't have the water pressure, but DH says won't be a problem!
