Has anybody bought the "Mommy Bear" that makes "womb sounds "? My stepsister had one with her last two kids. Her son loved it and her daughter hated it. Just wondering if anyone else had had an experience with this. Thanks.
Yes! For the first 3 months Austin wouldn't go to sleep without it in his crib!
I thought it was very soothing for him.. especially when he was upset.. I still turn it on fo him every once in a while for his when he lays down at night..
Borrowed one from a friend when Ally was first born and we were having trouble getting her to sleep. Then she wouldn't sleep without it until about 2 months ago. And when she is sick and won't sleep, it seems to help her calm down.
I was given one at my baby shower and LOVE IT! Kale has used it since day one. We turn it on during nap and bed time. Recently he has started taking it with him everywhere and loves to turn it on himself. When he gets over stimulated and fussy ... we put him in his crib or playpen and turn her on. She helps him calm down a bit and relax ... even if he doesn't go to sleep. only one problem ... she is not machine wachable .. only surface washable and for a neat freak like me .. UGH .... but I just make sure Kale's hands are clean when he handles her and wipe her down! I've bought two since Kale was born for baby shower gifts
I had one of those with Gavin and it worked really well. I liked it a lot. I have no idea where it is now otherwise I would be using it with Maddie also. It is really soothing.

LOL SHe works nights and sometimes has a hard time sleeping durig the daytime ..... she slept in the bedroom with Kale and I and loved the Mommie bear. I'm gonna get her one for Mothers day!
