HOLIDAYMAKERS who had previously used the minibus service that yesterday left seven dead in a motorway crash told of their own terror last night.
They said their vehicle SPED over the seven-mile route from their hotel to Manchester Airport and HURTLED round bends — its trailer of luggage SWINGING wildly behind.
They feared the courtesy service was an accident waiting to happen.
And at 5.40am yesterday they were proved tragically right when the 16-seat bus was ripped apart on the M56, hurling passengers into the road in a scene of “utter carnage”.
The dead included the 42-year-old driver and a teenage boy. A mother and her teenage girl were fighting for life
