Energy Anyone?

I know I've said this before, but some days, I have no energy left for my kids! I work a full-time (high stress) job and then come home and feel like dh and kids suffer from it!

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with age....more of it to do with lifestyle, but at 36, I definitely don't have the energy I did when I was 26!

I know that has to be hard on all of you. You will just have to take it one day and step at a time. You are doing the best that you can.

I feel tired to and no engery alot of the times. I feel lucky right now since it is summer vacation, but once school starts I will be part of the rat race again, getting things done at school, home and taking Alisha to her extra activities. Wow it wears you out.

There are days that I come home and feel like doing nothing but jumping into bed. But I know that Billy is tired too after being home with Alexander all day, so I try to give him a break. Plus, once I start playing with Alexander, I feel so much better!! He is so much fun and has so much energy, and then when he starts giving me his hugs and kisses, my tiredness just goes away!!

I work at home but still feel the need to replace my "human batteries"

I am a SAHM but work at home as a fine art and graphic artist. We have 2 computers one upstairs and the other downstairs. The upstairs I have set up as my office and I usually work late at night while my son Michael is sleeping. I tried working days but between Michael's countless doctor and therapy appointments and my occupational therapy (for carpel tunnel syndrome in both of my hands) plus my weekly doctor appiontments because I am diabetic....there never seems to be time during the day. My husband works 3rd shift from 8pm to 8am so he is of no help during days or nights.
I always feel run down. I usually play an Enya CD and work late into the wee hours of the night. I manage to get to sleep by 3 am and Michael wakes up between 6:30 and 7:00 am.
If anyone knows a way of better time management...PLEASE LET ME KNOW...
