Stupid ?? What's AF???

Hey y'all,

I feel stupid for not knowing this but I don't so I'm gonna ask. What is AF? I saw the and I don't know what that means. Hope you all don't think I'm ignorant. I really don't know. Could someone fill me in?

Don't feel stupid!!
I knew it meant your 'period' from seeing it in so many posts. But, I could never figure out what it actually stood for!! It would drive me crazy at times!

I used to call it that when I was in High School so I actually knew what that one meant, but I have had to look up or ask about so many others
