Haley's B-Day Party~The long story

I had to go to work early this morning at the church but I wanted to get to say Happy Birthday to Haley so I woke her up and gave her a present (some make-up). I probably shouldn't have woken her up because she spent the rest of the morning asking if it was time for her party yet.
I had requested to get off work at 11:45 so my mom could pick me up and we would go out to decorate the picnic shelter. First of all, my co-worker who had told me she would cover so I could leave early, didn't show up today. Then second service rolls around and neither of my nursery volunteers show up, so I have to wait for a parent to come in the room, then ask them to watch the kids so I can go hunting around for my boss to ask her to cover.
We finally get out to the shelter and there is another family setting up a party in the area that we paid $75 for. I freaked out. Thankfully my stepfather did most of the dealing with these people and convinced them that they had to leave. Not before making a few rude comments though about how they were told it was "first come first serve". I told them that we were told the same thing but that we could rent it to make sure that it was ours for the day. They said something about how dumb is it to pay for something that you could have for free. It is my little girl's birthday and we paid for it just incase something like this happens, you moron!
We had a contract though so finally they tore all their decorations down and switched to another area. We specifically wanted and paid extra for this one because it had bathrooms next to it and electricity.
We got everything set up and it looked so cute. I was thrilled with how everything turned out.
Every single person (besides one, who sent a gift anyway) that we invited, showed up. We had plenty to do with the sand art, pinata, and all the normal birthday stuff. There was never a time when the kids were bored or not doing something.
It was supposed to storm all day but the sun shone the entire time we were out there.
Haley got tons of gifts...A Baby disney cinderella doll, a talking barbie head, a big ello kit, a Bratz doll, tons of make-up, a few craft kits, a new bed set, a stationery set, a hello kitty watch, a jewelry box, and tons more little things.
Even though the day started out so shaky, I honestly think in the 7 yrs of her life this is the best birthday party that she has had.
